Intermediate Designer/Architect – San Francisco
Award-winning architecture firm is seeking an Intermediate Designer/Architect to join their collaborative team in Downtown San Francisco. For 20 years they have specialized in the design of new high density housing and transit-oriented mixed-use projects in San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. As a Designer, the successful candidate will work with the Principal and Project Manager on a variety of projects, primarily large multifamily housing projects in the Bay Area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Designer to develop experience in all aspects of the design process. The Requirements for the position include a professional degree in architecture, and approximately 4-5 years of professional experience in the field, including: • Familiarity with multifamily housing design • Project documentation and detailing, from schematics through permitting and construction • Familiarity with Types I, III and V construction • Fluency in Revit, Microsoft Office • Familiarity with Autocad • Presentation graphics in Adobe Creative Suite; Lumion is a plus • Ability to work in teams within the office & with consultants • Ability to successfully work with clients • Familiarity with California Building Code To be considered for this position, please email your resume along with examples of your work in PDF format (10MB maximum).
