BIM Manager - Culver City

Job Overview:
The BIM Manager’s role is to understand how BIM will impact project workflows and project management throughout the firm. The primary responsibility is to manage and coordinate all BIM standards development, implementation and enforcement. Making sure to collaborate with the Project Teams and the other Resource Groups to ensure those standards are applicable throughout the firm.

Essential Job Functions:
• Work with Director of Production to convey the benefits of BIM both to the firm and to our clients.
• Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies.
• Stay informed on best practices for the use of BIM and Revit.
• Creation and maintenance of the firm's Revit templates and families.
• Establish rendering standards and utilization.
• Development of standard families and templates for our clients.
• Manage BIM 360 environment for Revit collaboration.
• New project creation, administration, etc.
• Assist with modeling, detailing, and rendering project work.
• Administer BIM testing for potential candidates.

Requirements:
• 5+ year’s production experience in design, drafting or engineering.
Must have in-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions with emphasis on project sheet setup
• Stays current with the latest AEC technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
• Leads by example and always promotes positive thinking with coworkers and customers.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to document all solutions.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and service delivery skills.
• High level of respect and a commitment to customer service.
• Highly responsive with an appropriate sense of urgency.
• Can protect and keep secure all confidential business information.
Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office environment. Limited travel may include attending meetings and work sessions in other Offices, Client Offices, or Job Site. Mileage will be reimbursed at predetermined market rate. Individual must possess a valid California driver’s license with a good driving record and have reliable transportation.
