Job Overview:
Award winning Culver City, CA Architecture and Interior Design firm is currently looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer with about 4-6 years experience to join their team.

As a firm, they take on both architecture and interiors projects of a variety of different scales and project types. The interior design team works on project types ranging from creative offices to healthcare environments to hot yoga studios and salons. This is a mid-size firm with a friendly work environment often found in smaller firms. They have a casual and spirited work environment that allows for a positive work-life balance and atmosphere.

The ideal candidate for this position would be of an intermediate level and experienced working in Autocad, Revit, Sketchup and the Adobe Creative Suite. The intermediate interior designer would work with senior interior design staff on the following:

• Conceptual design, schematic design, design development and construction documents
• Develop space planning concepts and mood boards
• Develop and deliver graphic presentation materials for client presentations
• Research, select, and document FF&E scope
• Assist with overall interior design development during SD and DD phases
• Assist with creating full sets of construction documents including interior elevations, construction details and millwork drawings
• Assist with reviewing submittals and RFIs during CA
• Manage the interiors resource library as needed
• Manage junior staff as needed

They are looking for the new member of their team to be a self-starter, eager to learn and take responsibility for portions of design projects, and comfortable working in a small, close team environment.
A degree in interior design or interior architecture from an accredited university is required. Previous work experience as a commercial interior designer is required.
